The Scholarship Committee of the Board of Directors (“Scholarship Committee”) of the Preservation of the OLMC Festival Inc. (“OLMC”) may award on a yearly basis a limited number of scholarships to deserving students who are seniors in high school to achieve a higher education or professional trade program that enables them to become well-regarded and responsible citizens in their Southern New Jersey community. OLMC desires to award scholarships to individuals who meet the following criteria: (1) Be a high school senior; (2) Have a track record of doing volunteer work or community service; (3) Write an essay on how you have or will impact the Southern New Jersey community; (4) Have a grade average of C or above; (5) have a good character reference from an adult who is not related to them; (6) Intend to enroll in an institution of higher education or professional trade program in the following year; and (7) Participate in an interview with a member(s) of the Scholarship Committee (if conducted).
